I go through these emotions every year and every year the expected highs and lows leave me drained and exhausted. But once I start seeing the pre-season friendly results all the negativity goes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I will awake on Saturday morning with the normal home game knot in my stomach and will be unbearable until 13:00 when I leave for the game. I have a set routine where I follow the same route, park in the same place, have a McD (I keep that bit from heather) and walk in to the ground at 14:30. This year will be slightly different tho as my brother has decided that we will sit in different seats, just for a change of scenery (If we lose I will blame the new seats).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the game starts my excitement levels will intensify especially as we always start well, but , and theres always a but, as time goes on we will fall back in to our normal style where we give the ball away and concede a goal. At this point the excitement levels drop off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This game will be forgotten about once the next home game arrives and I start my pre-game routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am obviously talking about the forth coming season opening game for Nottingham Forest Football Club&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are quickly approaching the new football season and as usual excitement and anticipation levels are starting to rise.
